Bring Your Kid To Work Day

Chris called me up one day and asked if he could borrow Skyler for Bring Your Kid To Work Day, since he doesn't have any kids yet. Skyler was ecstatic! He couldn't wait to go to work with Uncle Chris. He had the BEST day! He got his own T-Mobile shirt, lanyard and name tag. He got to hang out with his friend, Kaylee and his Uncle Chris. He was excited to tell me that he answered phones and helped customers pick out phone cases. If you ask Skyler how to answer the phone he still says "Thanks for calling T-Mobile." It's pretty cute! And whenever he finds his name tag around the house he always wants me to put it on whatever shirt he's wearing. He really thinks that he works for T-Mobile.

 The next week he got to go to work with Daddy. Rich was doing a job at a dentist office on Vashon Island and he really wanted to take Skyler with him so that he could ride the ferry. Skyler was very excited. Rich let Skyler use one of his small tool bags, so Skyler went and found all of his toy tools to bring to work.

Skyler had another very fun day. He made a friend at the office and he came home with all kinds of goodies from the treasure box. I'm glad that he has a Dad and a fun Uncle who are teaching him how to be a good worker at a young age!
