Another busy weekend

With summer nearing an end, we're trying to pack as much stuff into our weekends as we can. We had another busy one last week, full of fun! We started off by going to Joe & Corinne's Friday night for a bbq, some "skeet" shooting and yummy grilled peaches for dessert.

Saturday Skyler's friend, Titon, had a birthday party that we got to go to. It was lots of fun!

Here's the awesome cake that Jenny made, it was absolutely delicious! She made 3 different flavors, pink lemonade, chocolate peanut butter and root beer float. And yes, I tried all 3.

This was a fun game where the kids ran back and forth collecting "coal" and putting it in the buckets.

Skyler liked this game! He tried taking the easy way out and loading up his hands with as much as he could carry instead of doing one piece at a time...that's my little cheater :)

After Titon's party we headed downtown and checked out Sand in the City. Unfortunately, we had a super cranky Skyler on our hands so we didn't get to stay for too long. Here are some of the cool sand sculptures that we saw.

We finished off our weekend by having a game night with Chris and Christie on Sunday. And for the record, GIRLS WON AGAIN!

Ever since we went to Wright Park a few weeks ago, we've been dying to go back. We thought it would be really fun if all the cousins could go and play together. It was kind of hectic keeping track of 6 little kiddos but they all had a great time.

We had a really fun day! I'm hoping our nice weather lasts for a while longer so that we can go to one of the other splash parks in Tacoma!
