Memorial Day Hike

Well since I had to work all weekend we didn't get to escape and go somewhere fun for Memorial Day weekend but we did enjoy doing things with family and friends close to home. We had a bbq with Rich's family after I got off work on Saturday. On Sunday we had Greg and Sarah over for a delicious dinner courtesy of Sarah and had fun playing games with them. And then I was lucky enough to get Monday off so we got to go for a hike in the capital forest with Rich's parents. We managed to go about 4 miles. Skyler was a champ and was laughing or sleeping most of the time until we reached about mile 3.5 and then he was done. Anyways here are a couple of pictures of our hike. We found this spot along the trail where the trees were arched over the trail and it looked really pretty.

He loved it! and fell fast asleep.

3 Months Old Already

As fun as it is to try to find new ways to entertain him all day long, it has been nice now that he has discovered how fun his toys are.

Well its been a while since we have posted any photos of Skyler so we figured we better put some up for you all to see. He has been growing so much over the past few weeks and has discovered both his hands and feet.

Look how strong he is, he can stand up all by himself.

Dad and uncle Chris were working on cutting out their pinewood derby cars. Skyler was in charge of supervising but he fell asleep :-)
