Here are my little cuties enjoying their new wagon
We saw the sloth bear
Dylan LOVED the zoo! The last time we went he was only like 4 months
old. This time he was excitedly pointing at everything. Here he is
pointing at the Komodo Dragon.
Trying to pose for mommy but the sun was in his eyes
The wagon was an excellent way for the boys to enjoy the zoo. They
easily got in and out a bunch of times. Here they are in front of the
tapir.
Pointing at the African elephants
My 2 little monkeys checking out the monkeys in the trees
This guy was just hanging in the tree and posing for us
The orangutan was just snoozing by the glass
Skyler peeking through the fence and checking out the orangutan's
Dylan with the orangutan
Eating a snack and checking out the Asian elephants
This guy walked right past us and Dylan was pretty fascinated with him
We got to see the giraffes better this time than we did last time
Both boys LOVED the flamingos. Dylan was trying to copy the sounds they were making. It was pretty funny!
Dylan needed some time to stretch his legs and do some walking. He ended
up chasing his shadow a lot and we didn't get very far very fast.
Kangaroos
Skyler liked pulling his wagon as much as he liked riding in it
Watching the fishies swim around
This cute otter was putting on quite a show for us
Skyler really liked giving Dylan a ride in the wagon
Checking out the penguins
The zoo closed at 4:30 and we didn't feel like sitting in rush hour
traffic on a gorgeous Friday afternoon so we decided to spend some time
in Seattle. While we were there we got to see the Space Needle with a
giant Angry Birds slingshot hanging from it. How cool is that!
Right as we were pulling into our parking space at Pikes Place Market,
Skyler says "Hurry! I gotta go potty before I pee in my Pull-Up" We
kinda figured that he already had gone in his Pull-Up since we had been
gone for around 5 1/2 hours. Up to this point Skyler had always refused
to use a public restroom and he had never gone standing up before
either. So, as a reward for telling us he had to go and for still being
dry and successfully using a public restroom, we bought him this giant
snickerdoodle.
Such a big boy now!
Sitting on the pig at the market
Walking along the waterfront with his cookie. He refused to let us hold it for him. He didn't want that thing out of his sight.
We stopped along the waterfront and had some fish & chips for dinner.
Cool shades Dylan!
Skyler thought he wanted to eat a lemon
He quickly changed his mind
Dylan loved chewing on his lemon, though. He had a death grip on it.
He's such a silly boy! Always being a goof ball for the camera!
Such a big happy smile!
Sour face!
Feeding his lemon to Dad
I had heard about the gum wall in Seattle but I had never gone past it
before. Here's me and a sleeping Dylan posing in front of the disgusting
gum wall.
Skyler & Rich by the gum wall
Check out our amazing parking spot on the corner, right in front of the market. It doesn't get much better than that!
On our way home we stopped and got Frosty's from Wendy's. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
