New Car

2 weeks ago we got a new car. My beloved Escape was having some alternator issues that were going to be quite costly to fix. Taking into consideration the value of my car, it just wasn't worth dumping a bunch of money into repairing it, especially since we had pretty much outgrown it. Sad face! I LOVED my Escape! At any rate, we decided it was best to trade it in on something a little bigger. We found this really nice '07 Honda Pilot, with seating for 8. It has heated leather seats, moon roof and pretty low miles for a Honda. It's quite comfortable to ride in. Although, after 2 weeks I still have not driven it yet :-)

Right after we bought it a huge snow storm hit, which is partly why I haven't driven it yet. Rich said it handles well in the snow, he was able to get everywhere we needed to go. He even took Tristan all the way to the airport in 16 inches of snow. If it can handle that, it can handle anything!

New Years Eve Party

We decided to have a little New Year's Eve party this year, since we actually have the room to entertain now. It was a lot of fun! Good friends, good food and good times were enjoyed by all!

Before the party we enjoyed a yummy prime rib dinner with Brian & Denise. Then we all pigged out some more on party food.
